Being employed with Quickie Cab in the Big Apple has its advantages and disadvantages. About the only good thing is getting to check out some of the pretty women that need taken from here to there, most to meet their lovers. Down side is the city is so damn big and most people are rather unfriendly, crappy hours to work, and no real motivation to do the job any better. But that all changed the other night with a fare I picked up.

I'd just settled in and was sipping on my morning coffee when a shadow crossed my desk. I looked up and saw Tess Henderson, the owner of the advertising agency I worked for, standing over me. "Hi Laurie. I was wondering if you had a couple of minutes for a chat in my office."
